Karl Heinz Lenz (born July 28, 1953 in Cologne ) is a former federal chairman of the SJD - Die Falken as well as an archaeologist and educator .

After attending secondary school and commercial college , Lenz completed an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk . He was a company youth representative and union shop steward ( IG Metall ) in large Cologne companies. From 1969 he worked in the Socialist Youth of Germany - Die Falken in Cologne. From 1975 to 1979 Lenz was Deputy Federal Chairman, from 1979 to 1981 Federal Chairman of the Falken.
