Karl Hermann Friedrich Seeger , from 1877 von Seeger , (born August 18, 1829 in Stuttgart , † June 13, 1903 in Tübingen ) was a German lawyer and professor and rector at the University of Tübingen .

Life

Hermann Seeger became a private lecturer in 1854, associate professor in 1858, LA in 1859, again associate professor in 1862, personal member of the faculty in 1864, full professor for criminal law and criminal procedure from 1868–1901 and rector at the University of Tübingen in 1874/75. His portrait hangs in the professors' gallery in Tübingen.

There is an estate in the Tübingen University Library .

Awards

In 1877 he was the the Knight's Cross First Class Order of the Württemberg Crown excellent, which with the personal title of nobility ( ennoblement ) was associated.
