Karl Johan Baadsvik (born August 22, 1910 in Fillan , Hitra , Sør-Trøndelag , Norway ; † October 5, 1995 in Washington , United States ) was a Canadian skier.

Baadsvik, who emigrated with his family to America after his birth in Norway and trained there at the Viking Ski Club in Montreal , competed for Canada in the disciplines of ski jumping , cross-country skiing , Nordic combined and alpine skiing at the 1936 Winter Olympics in Garmisch-Partenkirchen . In ski jumping he reached 35th place with jumps on 63.5 and 59 meters. In cross-country skiing he reached 64th place in an individual race over 18 kilometers. In Nordic combined he was 14th after ski jumping, but after a disappointing 47th place in cross-country skiing, he was only 41st in the end. In the alpine combination he could not even place in the final ranking. Although he had reached 26th place in the downhill and was 37th in the slalom after the first run, he was eliminated in the second run.
