Karl Julius Ebersberg
Karl Julius Ebersberg (born September 7, 1831 in Vienna , † April 4, 1870 in Wiener Neustadt ) was an Austrian officer and writer.
Ebersberg was a son of the writer Josef Sigmund Ebersberg and his wife Maria von Nádory; his younger brother Ottokar Franz became a well-known Viennese theater poet.
Ebersberg was appointed professor at the Theresian Military Academy in the Burg in Wiener Neustadt, and he held this post until the end of his life. The teacher of history and geography was a member of various scientific associations and holder of the golden medal for art and science.
