Karl Klapp

Karl Heinrich Klapp (born February 10, 1857 in Nieder-Wildungen , † October 12, 1932 in Bad Wildungen ) was a German master shoemaker and politician ( SPD ).

Klapp was the son of the master shoemaker Moritz Klapp and his wife Elisabeth, née Höhle. On October 28, 1888, in Nieder-Wildungen, he married Sophie Christiane, born Briele, the widow of the butcher Christian Braun. Klapp was a master shoemaker in Bad Wildungen. From 1919 to 1922 he was a member of the constitution- making Waldeck-Pyrmont state representation for the SPD .
