Karl Landsteiner Memorial Award

The Karl Landsteiner Memorial Award is an award from the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) that is presented annually to scientists who have achieved outstanding achievements in transfusion medicine or cell therapy. It was donated in 1954 in honor of Karl Landsteiner and comes with prize money of $ 7,500. The award winner gives a lecture at the annual general meeting of the AABB.
