Karl Müller (politician, 1900)

Karl Friedrich Ernst Müller (born April 14, 1900 in Solingen ; † after 1950) was a German SPD politician .

Life and work

After graduating from secondary school in 1919 in Wismar , Müller, who was of Protestant faith, first completed an agricultural apprenticeship. He then studied from 1921 to 1925 at the University of Leipzig , where he obtained an agricultural diploma in 1924 and a doctorate in philosophy in 1925. After completing his studies, he worked as an agricultural civil servant, initially in various companies in Mecklenburg until 1930 and then in Kogel near Ratzeburg until 1933 . From 1933 he was an agricultural advisor in Gülzow . After the Second World War he was there until November 1947 as the district farmer and district agricultural councilor for the Duchy of Lauenburg .

MP

From November 24, 1947, when he replaced Joachim von der Lieth , Müller was a member of the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament until 1950 . He was a member of the Agriculture and Food Committee.

Public offices

From 1945 to 1947 Müller was mayor of the community of Gülzow and also head of office. From November 1947 to May 1950 he was the parliamentary representative of the Schleswig-Holstein Minister for Food, Agriculture and Forests and special representative for the implementation of the land reform.
