Karl Michaëlsson
Karl Michaëlsson (born June 23, 1890 in Stockholm , † December 31, 1961 in Göteborg -Johanneberg) was a Swedish Romanist .
life and work
Michaëlsson received his doctorate in Uppsala in 1927 with Études sur les noms de personne français d'après les rôles de taille parisiens: (rôles de 1292, 1296-1300, 1313). 1 (2 vols., Uppsala 1927-1936). From 1929 he taught at the University of Gothenburg , from 1937 to 1957 as a full professor for Romance languages.
Michaëlsson received honorary doctorates from the Universities of Paris and Lyon (1949).
