Karl Oréans

Karl Oréans (born May 14, 1863 in Wiesloch ; † March 2, 1960 in Konstanz ) was a German Romance philologist and grammar school teacher.

Karl Orléans, and follow studied at the Albert-Ludwigs-University of Freiburg , where he in 1888 with the work of the e-rhymes in Altprovençalischen to Dr. phil. received his doctorate , then he worked as a high school professor in Konstanz. On July 21, 1896, he became a member of the Catholic student association KDStV Hercynia Freiburg im Breisgau in the CV . In addition to books on the Romance language, he also published several articles in the magazine for Romance philology . In 1921 he published an extensive work on the modern history of England .
