Karl Ott (District Director)

Karl Ott (* around 1843, † 1923 ) was a German administrative officer.

Life

Karl Ott studied at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . In 1863 he became a member of the Isaria Corps . After completing his studies, he entered the administrative service of the realm of Alsace-Lorraine . From 1882 to 1889 he was district director of the Rappoltsweiler district and from 1889 to 1897 of the Colmar district . Subsequently he was a secret councilor in Strasbourg . He was a member of the Imperial Council in the realm of Alsace-Lorraine , most recently as its president. After the end of the First World War he lived in Baden-Baden until his death in 1923 .
