Karl Riplinger

Karl Riplinger (born October 30, 1904 in Fitten ; † after 1961) was a Saarland politician ( CDU ).

After attending primary school, Riplinger worked in his parents' farm. Between 1925 and 1927 he completed an apprenticeship at the agricultural school in Saarlouis and finally founded his own farm in 1932. In the Saar area , which was then subordinate to the League of Nations , he worked as a local group leader of the German Front for a return to the German Reich. After incorporation, he became a local farmer's leader in the Reichsnährstand . On July 1, 1941, he was accepted into the NSDAP ( membership number 8,746,971). From 1936 to 1944 he was also a member of the parish council of Fitten. In 1944 Riplinger was called up for military service. He became a prisoner of war, from which he was released in autumn 1946 due to illness.

Riplinger joined the Saarland CDU and was able to move up for Wilhelm Kratz in the Saarland state parliament in July 1959 . He was a member of parliament until January 1961.
