Karl Heinrich Schäfer (born November 18, 1838 - † May 24, 1922 ; also Carl Heinrich Schäfer ) was a German organ builder .

Karl Schäfer came from a family of organ builders and received his training from his father Johann Heinrich Schäfer , whose workshop he also took over. After his death the workshop in Heilbronn was closed.

Karl Schäfer's son Karl Franz Schäfer (born March 14, 1872) emigrated to Switzerland in January 1899 .
