Karl Stackmann (District Administrator)

Karl Stackmann (born March 14, 1858 in Lehrte , Kingdom of Hanover , † 1943 in Berlin ) was a German administrative lawyer in Prussia.

Life

Stackmann studied law at the Georg-August University in Göttingen . In 1878 he became active in the Corps Bremensia . In 1889 he became district administrator in the Wetzlar district . In 1896, he came as a Councilor for the Prefect of the Rhine Province . After he resigned from civil service in 1898, he was on the board of the Elektrizitäts-AG until 1902 . Residing in Grunewald , he represented the constituency of Koblenz 1 (Wetzlar) in the Prussian House of Representatives from 1904 to 1908 . From 1911 to 1914 he was chairman of the Conservative Party (Prussia) .
