Carl Stockhinger

Carl Stockhinger , also Karl Stockhinger (born September 10, 1894 in Bremen , † April 4, 1951 in Bremen) was a German politician ( SPD ).

biography

After attending elementary school, Stockhinger completed an apprenticeship as typesetter and then worked in this profession. Until 1933 he was typesetter and works council chairman at the Arbeiterzeitung , which later became the Volkszeitung . He was also a functionary in the Association of the Graphic Arts. After the Second World War he was employed as an employment broker at the Bremen employment office.

Stockhinger joined the SPD in 1914. He was a member of the USPD from 1920 to 1922 and then became a Social Democrat again. From 1931 to 1933 he was state chairman of the SAPD in Bremen.

After 1945 he became a member of the SPD again. He was a member of the Bremen citizenship from 1946 to 1951 and chairman of the SPD parliamentary group from 1947 until his death.

His daughter Anneliese Leinemann (SPD) was a member and vice-president of the Bremen citizenship.

Honors

Carl-Stockhinger-Strasse in Bremen- Woltmershausen is named after him.
