Mustafa Güngör (born March 20, 1978 in Bremen ) is a German self-employed businessman , Bremen politician ( SPD ), Member of the Bremen Parliament and SPD parliamentary group leader in the Bremen Parliament since August 2019 .

biography

Family, education and work

Güngör visited the Walliser Straße school center in Bremen-Osterholz. He graduated from the University of Bremen with a degree in political science with a minor in economics .

From 2000 to 2001 he was sales manager at Aivos Brief & Paket Post GmbH . He then worked until 2003 as a clerk for projects and postal administration at the SPD state organization in Bremen. Since 2001 he has been the managing director of MG Media Service in Bremen.

Güngör is married, has two children and lives in Bremen-Osterholz .

politics

Güngör joined the SPD in 2000. From 2003 to 2007 he was a member of the advisory board in the Bremen-Osterholz district and at the same time spokesman for the Municipal Committee and a member of the Deputation for Internal Affairs. From 2004 to 2006 he was a member of the state board of the Bremen Jusos . From 2006 to 2008 he was chairman of the Jusos in the sub-district of Bremen-Stadt. From 2004 to 2019 he was first deputy and then chairman of the SPD local association in Osterholz. From 2010 to 2014 he was a member of the state executive committee of the SPD Bremen .

Since June 8, 2007 he has been a member of the Bremen citizenship and education policy spokesman for the SPD parliamentary group. He is represented in the state and municipal deputation for education. He has been chairman of the SPD parliamentary group since August 2019.

Güngör is a founding member and assessor on the board of the German-Turkish Society Lower Saxony-Bremen .
