Thomas Krüger (born January 11, 1969 in Demmin ) is a German politician ( SPD ). He has been a member of the state parliament of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania since October 4, 2011 and chairman of the SPD parliamentary group in the state parliament since November 1, 2016.

biography

Thomas Krüger completed an apprenticeship as a locksmith by 1987 and initially worked in this profession. From 1990 to 1995 he was the district manager of the SPD and followed by retraining as a dental technician. From 1999 to 2000 he was an advisor for local politics at SGK eV From 2000 to 2011 he was managing director of the SPD Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .

Krüger joined the Social Democratic Party there at the time of political change in the GDR. During this time he worked at the round table of the city of Malchin. In the state elections in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in 2011, he won a seat for his party in the Demmin II state constituency . He is a member of the Finance and Agriculture Committee and. was spokesman for his group for agricultural policy.
