Thomas Krüger (born January 11, 1969 in Demmin ) is a German politician ( SPD ). He has been a member of the state parliament of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania since October 4, 2011 and chairman of the SPD parliamentary group in the state parliament since November 1, 2016.

biography

Thomas Krüger completed an apprenticeship as a locksmith by 1987 and initially worked in this profession. From 1990 to 1995 he was the district manager of the SPD and followed by retraining as a dental technician. From 1999 to 2000 he was an advisor for local politics at SGK eV From 2000 to 2011 he was managing director of the SPD Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .

Krüger joined the Social Democratic Party there at the time of political change in the GDR. During this time he worked at the round table of the city of Malchin.
