Karl Tanzeglock

Karl Tanzeglock (born November 22, 1902 in Wattenscheid ; † May 26, 1983 in Bochum ) was a German lawyer and politician (NSDAP).

Life

Born as the son of a manager, Tanzeglock studied law in Münster and Cologne . During his studies he became a member of the Guestphalia Münster fraternity in 1923 , and later in 1949 a member of the fraternity of North Germans and Lower Saxony in Bonn. On November 1, 1932, he joined the NSDAP and in November 1933 also the SS. He left the SS in April 1935, but rejoined the SS in 1941 and had the rank of SS-Untersturmführer .

From 1937 to 1945 he was district administrator for the Tecklenburg district . He also worked from 1935 to 1941 as district administrator for the Steinfurt district . From 1950 he was a lawyer in the Higher Regional Court district of Hamm.
