Karl Vetter (born April 15, 1895 in Todtnau , † after 1955) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).

Life

After attending secondary school , Vetter completed an agricultural apprenticeship from 1910 to 1914 and was administrator on several estates. In 1919 he started his own business as a farmer in Wanfried .

He participated as a volunteer in the First World War, from which he worked as a lieutenant d. R. was released. After the war he was u. a. 1933–1934 provincial chairman of the state farmers' association of Kurhessen .

In 1932 he became a member of the state parliament for the NSDAP in the Prussian state parliament . In 1933, Vetter became regional chairman of the state peasantry Kurhessen, then head of Reich Main Department IV in the Reichsnährstand . Vetter headed the Reich Office for Eggs as district commissioner, became special commissioner for small animal breeding at the Prussian Ministry of Food and Agriculture and finally president of the Association of German Small Animal Breeders.

Vetter ran on the nomination for the NSDAP in place number 665 in the election to the German Reichstag on November 12, 1933 and was a member of the National Socialist Reichstag , to which he belonged until the end of the Nazi regime in spring 1945.

In 1938 he was an SS Standartenführer .

As Deputy Head of the Military Administration until Christmas 1941, Vetter was head of the chief group for agriculture in the Economic Inspectorate zbV Westphalia and thus in Department I - Organization and Personnel Management - Hans Bavendamm's superior.

In a denazification procedure carried out by the American military government (Ref .: HHStAW Abt. 520 Kassel-Zentral No. 3230 [K271]), Karl Vetter was classified as "incriminated" II. On July 10, 1948, he was released from the Darmstadt internment camp .

On May 7, 1951, he moved from Wanfried , Hessen, to Hamburg. From there he emigrated to Buenos Aires, Argentina, on August 20, 1951. In 1955, Karl Vetter, from his place of residence in Argentina, Sierra de la Ventana, applied to the regional council in Kassel for a so-called certificate of origin to apply for a war invalidity pension in Germany.
