Karl Volkmer
Karl Volkmer (born March 20, 1922 ) is a former Swiss middle-distance runner and sprinter .
At the European Athletics Championships in Oslo in 1946 , he failed over 800 m in the run and was fifth in the 4-by-400-meter relay .
In 1948 he reached the semi-finals at the Olympic Games in London over 800 m and was eliminated in the 4-by-400-meter relay in the preliminary run.
