Karl von Doblhoff-Dier

Baron Karl von Doblhoff-Dier (also Carl or Charles ) (born July 13, 1762 in Vienna ; † February 23, 1837 there ) was an Austrian musician and composer .

Life

Karl von Doblhoff-Dier was a student of Antonio Salieri and composed mostly songs. Together with his brother Ignaz he inherited the Sauerhof in Baden and had Joseph Kornhäusel build a hotel with bathroom, restaurant and chapel, surrounded by English gardens, from 1820–1822 .
