Wolf (f) Siegfried Karl von Lüttichau (born September 30, 1834 in Dresden , † July 17, 1889 in Ulbersdorf ) was a Saxon chamberlain , chief steward of Queen Carola of Saxony , real secret council , knight of honor of the Order of St. John and owner of the manor .

Life

He came from the Saxon noble family von Lüttichau and was the son of the court theater director and real secret councilor Wolf (f) Adolf August von Lüttichau (1786–1863) and his wife, the patroness and artist Ida von Lüttichau, born von Knobelsdorff (1798– 1856).

Like many representatives of his family, he embarked on an administrative career in the service of the Wettins at the court of Dresden, where he was appointed first chamberlain and later chamberlain. As chief steward, he served Queen Carola of Saxony. Most recently, Karl von Lüttichau was Real Privy Councilor and was appointed Knight of Honor of the Order of St. John.

By inheritance, he became the owner of the manors (Upper) Ulbersdorf in the Kingdom of Saxony and Sellin in the Prussian province of Brandenburg .

Karl von Lüttichau was married to Countess Fanny de Paula Maria Anna Strachwitz from 1885, who was the second marriage to the General of the Papal Nobel Guard (Guardia Nobile) a. D. in Rome, Stanislaus Conte de Witten, married.

Karl von Lüttichau carried the family coat of arms, which shows in red two gold-framed, jagged, silver quarreling sickles, each with three black cock feathers on the back. The shield image on the helmet with red and silver covers.
