Karl von Lindenau

Karl Wolfgang Freiherr von Lindenau (born March 7, 1857 at Pohlhof, Altenburg , † December 21, 1909 in Altenburg) was a German diplomat.

Life

Karl von Lindenau was the son of legation councilor Emil von Lindenau on Pohlhof and Anna, nee. Freiin von Stein zu Kochberg. After attending the Liegnitz Knight Academy , he studied at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn . In 1877 he became a member of the Corps Borussia Bonn . He entered the diplomatic service. After being posted to the diplomatic missions in Paris , Constantinople , Rome and Munich , he was last active as an associate envoy and lecturer at the Foreign Office in Berlin. He died unmarried.
