Karl von Rambaldi

Karl von Rambaldi (Karl Borromäus Ferdinand Graf von Rambaldi) (born May 30, 1842 in Landshut , † April 29, 1922 in Munich ) was a German historian and writer. Rambaldi, who was married to the daughter Mathilde of the pharmaceutical entrepreneur Christoph Heinrich Boehringer , was a board member and secretary of the Historic Association of Upper Bavaria . Rambaldi wrote and published the walks in the Isarthalbahn area in 1892 (Lentner, Munich, 1892) and in 1894 the Munich street names and their explanations (Pilothy & Loehle, Munich). and in 1902 the history of the parish of Aufkrchen am Würmsee. Festschrift for the 400th anniversary of the parish and pilgrimage church .

Rambaldi came from the Rambaldi family, who came to Munich from Verona in the 18th century , acquired the Allmannshausen Castle in the 19th century and built the nearby hunter's house on Lake Starnberg . He is buried in the Aufkirchen cemetery.

The Rambaldistraße in Munich-Johanneskirchen is named after Rambaldi .
