Karl von Sandt

Karl von Sandt (* 1826 ; † 1890 ) was a German administrative officer.

Life

Karl von Sandt studied at the University of Bonn law . In 1846 he became a member of the Corps Saxonia Bonn . After graduating, he entered the Prussian civil service. In 1854 he became the district administrator of the district of Bonn appointed. As an award, he received the appointment to the secret government council . Since 1859 the district office was in his private house. In 1888 his son Max von Sandt was appointed as his successor. His house remained until the construction of the District House in Bonn in 1892 the headquarters of the Bonn district administrator.
