Hans-Josef Bost

Hans-Josef Bost (born May 24, 1916 in Quiigart ; † December 14, 1989 ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Life and work

After attending elementary school and high school , he studied philosophy. After serving in the war and being a prisoner of war, he worked as an editor and at the Federal Ministry for Labor and Social Affairs. Bost had been a member of the CDU since 1946 and was a co-founder of the Hessian CDU.

He was married and had four children.

MP

From July 24, 1966 to May 27, 1975, Bost was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . He was elected directly in constituency 022 Bonn-Land II.

From 1952 to 1969 he was a member of the Duisdorf municipal council and from 1961 to 1964 mayor and member of the Duisdorf office.

From 1961 he was a member of the district council of the district of Bonn .

Public offices

From October 1964 to July 1969 he was District Administrator of the Bonn district.

Others

On May 5, 1975 he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit 1st Class.
