Karlheinz Beer

Karlheinz Beer (born August 30, 1953 in Amberg ) is a German artist who is best known as a painter , set designer and costume designer. He lives in Bamberg and Venice .

life and work

Karlheinz Beer has been a painter since 1983, and later also with three-dimensional works and sculptures. In 1988, he was the State of Bavaria for the Villa Massimo proposed scholarship in Rome, in 1996 he had a US scholarship, 1999, he was part of an exhibition in Bamberg Cathedral with the price of Bamberg excellent. Exhibitions took place u. a. in art associations and museums all over Germany, at the VCCA in Virginia / USA, in the National Museum Breslau , Schleswig-Holsteinisches Landesmuseum Schloss Gottorf, etc. a. Since 1982 Beer has also created stage spaces and costumes for theater and opera, including numerous world premieres - the only world premiere in the 20th century of a work by Richard Wagner ( Leubald ) in Bayreuth ( Studiobühne Bayreuth ) that was previously believed to be lost .
