The Karlsberg with a height of 78.5 meters above sea level is the second highest mountain in Berlin Grunewald and a popular destination for Berlin, especially cycling amateurs and joggers. It is a terminal moraine hill from the last Ice Age . The mountain was named after Prince Carl , the third son of King Friedrich Wilhelm III. and Queen Luise , named. Colloquially, the mountain is called "Willi".

The mountain is located on the western edge of the Grunewald. It belongs to the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district . The Karlsberg is located directly on the Havel and therefore offers a beautiful view of the Berlin waters.

Attractions
The Grunewald Tower is located at the highest point of the Karlsberg . This was built on the hill on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birthday of the first German Emperor Wilhelm I. Another well-known restoration is located about 100 meters from the foot of the Grunewald Tower, the renowned "Waldhaus".
