Karola Voss

Karola Voss (* 1963 in Ahaus ) is a German local politician (independent) and full-time mayor of the city of Ahaus in the Borken district .

Life and career

After completing school in Heek and Ahaus, Voss began his middle-class training in 1979 at the Borken district administration, which he completed in 1981 with an examination at the Westphalian Study Institute for Local Administration in Münster . From 1981 to 1983 she obtained the advanced technical college entrance qualification while working . From 2007 to 2008 she made a promotion to the higher non-technical service at the Westfälisch-Märkisches Study Institute for Municipal Administration in Dortmund .

During her service until 2012, she was employed in various offices at the Borken district. After moving to the Borken city administration , she was head of the auditing office there .

With 67.5%, Karola Voss was elected Mayor of Ahaus in the runoff election for the 2015 local elections on September 27, 2015 .

Voss is married and has two children. She lives in Quantwick with her family .
