Karsten Dehning-Busse

Karsten Dehning-Busse (* 1956 in Bremen ) is a German cellist , composer and music teacher .

Life

Dehning studied violoncello with Klaus Storck at the Hanover University of Music and rounded off his training by attending master classes. a. from Pierre Fournier . After his concert exam in 1985, he also worked there as a lecturer in the cello subject.

His artistic work is predominantly freelance as a composer and cellist in chamber music, especially in the field of new music . In 1993 he was a founding member of the New Ensemble Hannover and is a permanent member of the Bremen Trio Ad Libitum with Andreas Salm (clarinet) and Juliane Busse (piano). He is also the conductor of amateur orchestras.

Dehning-Busse is also active as a chess player for the Lilienthal chess friends.

Works

The trio he composed (2006) for clarinet , violoncello and piano was recorded and broadcast by Radio Bremen with his participation .
