Kaspar Singer
Kaspar Singer (born November 25, 1974 in Zurich ; born Kaspar Glättli ) is a Swiss cellist .
Life
Kaspar Singer was born in 1974 as the second son of Rolf Glättli and Silvia Glättli-Züblin, and grew up with his brother Balthasar Glättli in Wolfhausen ZH . He attended the Zurich Oberland Cantonal School . After graduating from high school , he obtained a teaching and concert diploma as a cellist . He specialized in baroque cello with Jaap ter Linden (The Hague) and also studied with Christophe Coin (Basel). At the same time, he cultivated his preference for new music with daswirdas . Kaspar Singer is a member of the Camerata Switzerland symphony orchestra and lecturer for baroque cello and historical performance practice at the University of Catholic Church Music in Regensburg .
Kaspar Singer now lives with his wife and three children in Lans near Innsbruck .
