Kasper Holmboe

Kasper Holmboe (born September 4, 1973 in Allerød , Denmark ) is a Danish musical singer in Germany. After graduating from high school, he began an apprenticeship as a bricklayer, but soon switched to musicals.

Life

He started his career in his native Denmark at Østre Gasværk Theater in Copenhagen . He was part of the Danish original cast of " Miss Saigon ". This engagement was followed by solo appearances and participation in the tour production of the Danish musical "Atlantis". But he also appeared on Danish television. He made his first appearance in Germany as Bishop von Digne and Cover Javert in " Les Misérables ". Here he played alongside Thomas Borchert, among others . In Hamburg he then played Leopold in the musical " Mozart ". He demonstrated his versatility at " Elisabeth " in Essen . There he played Duke Max and Franz Joseph , but also Lucheni . In Berlin he returned to the musical "Les Misérables" and also played Jean Valjean . There he played alongside actors like Uwe Kröger and Vera Bolten . This was followed by an engagement as Harry and Bill on “ Mamma Mia! “In Hamburg . Then he was there in the musical " I've never been to New York " and plays Axel Staudach . He then brought out the CD "Kasper Holmboe sings Tom Jones - A man like me" and founded the company Kasper Holmboe Theater Consulting. Together with his colleagues Karim Khawatmi, Stefan Tolnai and Nico Müller, Holmboe will also perform in the “Musical Gentlemen” concert series.
