Kate Fischer

Kate "Katie" Fischer (* the thirtieth November 1973 in Adelaide , South Australia as Kate Zipporah ) is a former Australian actress and model .

Life

Fischer's mother is the Australian politician Pru Goward . Since the late 1980s, Fischer has been one of Australia's top models, was considered an It Girl in Sydney in the 1990s and was engaged to the Australian entrepreneur James Packer from 1996 to 1997 . As a model, she was featured on the cover of Australian Vogue and GQ several times .

She started her acting career in the early 1990s. She starred in various films and television series. Her first major role was in 1993 as Pru in the British-Australian comedy film Seduction of the Sirens . In 1996 she was nominated for the Logie Award in the Most Popular New Talent category. The role in The Foreigner (2003) was Fischer's last major appearance in front of the camera. She gave up acting and modeling, moved to Los Angeles , converted from Christian to Judaism and changed her name to T'ziphorah Malka beg Israel .

In 2017, she participated in the third season of the Australian television show I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! part.
