Reborn! ( Japanese. 家庭 教師 ヒ ッ ト マ ン REBORN !, Katekyō Hittoman REBORN!, literally "private teacher contract killer Reborn") is a Japanese manga by the Mangaka Akira Amano . The manga is also published in Germany and has been called Anime - TV series implemented. The manga can be assigned to the genres of Shons , Action , Fantasy and Comedy .
The story is about Tsunayoshi Sawada , whose life is turned upside down by the tutor Reborn .
action
Tsunayoshi Sawada ( 沢 田 綱 吉 ) is bad at school, unsportsmanlike, not very popular and therefore not self-confident. So he does not dare to speak to his classmate Kyōko Sasagawa ( 笹 川 京 子 ) and is usually called "nothing useful tsuna".
That changes when his mother hires the supposed tutor Reborn ( リ ボ ー ン ). This is a contract killer and, as he explains, Tsuna is to train him to be the tenth head of one of the most influential Mafia families, the Vongola family. Reborn's special balls are helpful here, as they provide Tsuna with superhuman powers for a short time.
During the course of his training, Reborn repeatedly provoked dangerous situations for Tsuna, including fights against overpowering opponents. At first, the arguments are limited to classmates who, impressed by Tsuna's abilities, join his "family". Later other Mafia families become aware of Tsuna and a fight for the successor of the Ninth breaks out within Vongola.
Characters
- Tsunayoshi Sawada
- Tsunayoshi (called: Tsuna) is considered the biggest failure at his school. He is extremely bad in every subject and is not particularly popular with anyone. He lives with his mother in Namimori (Japan), his father is believed to have disappeared at the beginning of the plot. When he learns from the hit man Reborn that he is the youngest member of an extremely powerful Mafia clan, the Vongola family, his life changes completely.
- Reborn gradually trains him to become a mafioso, because Tsuna was chosen to one day become the new and tenth head of the Vongola family. Initially, Tsuna doesn't believe in the idea of becoming a Mafia boss and is also very clumsy. But he makes new friends and over time becomes an increasingly powerful fighter. The Vongola blood flows through it and gradually breaks through. It is becoming increasingly clear that he has some special connection with the first Vongola head of the family. Later in the series he gets the Vongola Sky Ring as the boss .
- Reborn
- Reborn is a professional killer from Italy who is sent to Japan by the 9th boss of the Vongola family to raise Tsuna to be a capable boss. He looks like a baby in a Mafia suit, but is actually an adult belonging to the Arcobaleno group. These children are a group within the Mafia who are the carriers of the Arcobaleno pacifiers . Reborn sometimes has very idiosyncratic methods of bringing up Tsuna and repeatedly brings him and his friends into dangerous and crazy situations. However, Reborn never intends anything bad, but brings Tsuna and his friends closer together and makes Tsuna jump over his shadow again and again.
- Reborn hardly acts as an active fighter, but is more of a kind of commentator who comments and analyzes the fights over the course of the story. Reborn's real name is unknown.
- Hayato Gokudera
- Hayato Gokudera is Tsuna's first subordinate and friend. After Tsuna saves him from his own weapons - dynamite - he is infinitely grateful to him and from that day on declares himself to be Tsuna's right hand and threatens anyone who offends Tsuna. Gokudera specializes in bombs, which is why he is nicknamed Hurrican Bomb Hayato ( Smokin 'Bomb in the manga). Gokudera is extremely popular with the girls because, on the one hand, he always gets the full number of points in all tests and, on the other hand, he is cool and inviolable. Where he was closed at the beginning of the story, Gokudera gradually opens up to Tsuna and even partially changes his behavior for him. Gokudera later becomes Tsuna's guardian and receives the Vongola storm ring.
- At first, Gokudera does not have a good relationship with Yamamoto, as he believes that Yamamoto wants to relieve him of the role of right hand . After a heated argument, however, he realizes that Yamamoto Gokudera does not want to outdo Gokudera and that both are only fighting for the good of Tsuna. From that moment on, Gokudera learns to trust and respect Yamamoto.
- In the manga, Gokudera is a chain smoker, but this was cut in the anime. So it remains unclear how he lights the fuse of his bombs, whereby in one episode he held a lighter in his hand.
- Takeshi Yamamoto
- Takeshi Yamamoto is the Namimori Middle School sports professional and a passionate baseball player. He goes to a class with Tsuna and is good friends with him. Yamamoto is always in a good mood and seems to take everything lightly, so he initially believes that everything is just a mafia game and that Reborn is just a small child with too much imagination. Through Tsuna, Yamamoto is drawn more and more into the Mafia world and quickly turns out to be a born swordsman. So he supports Tsuna in all important fights and situations, as a friend and fighter. When it comes to his friends, Yamamoto sheds his cheerful personality and suddenly becomes serious. He has a somewhat complicated relationship with Gokudera: Yamamoto likes Gokudera and would never get in his way. But he sees him as an opponent and pokes at Yamamoto again and again. Only after a violent argument do the two agree and learn to get along with each other. Yamamoto later becomes Tsuna's guardian and receives the Vongola rain ring.
- In the manga it is shown how Yamamoto became Tsuna's friend: Tsuna stopped Yamamoto from killing himself because he broke his arm. The world collapsed for Yamamoto as an athlete, but Tsuna makes it clear to him that he doesn't need to die for something like this . In the anime, however, this was cut so it remains unclear why Yamamoto has such great respect and confidence in Tsuna.
- Lambo
- Lambo (also called Crybaby Lambo ) is a 5-year-old killer from the Bovino family who actually comes to Japan to kill Reborn. However, since this always fails, Lambo gives up this project at some point and lives with Tsuna from then on. He always wears a cow suit and even has horns in his afro. There he also hides all kinds of things, such as B. sweets, grenades or the ten-year bazooka . Lambo usually gets on the nerves of other people, which is why he is tormented by them. In this situation, Lambo uses the decade bazooka , which swaps him for his ten-year-old personality. This status lasts for five minutes. Lambo uses his horns to fight, in which he can store electricity in order to transmit it to opponents. Lambo also becomes one of Tsuna's guardians and the bearer of the lightning ring.
- Lambo often speaks of himself in the third person and calls himself Lambo-san (as much as Mr. Lambo ).
- Ryohei Sasagawa
- Ryohei is a year over Tsuna and the brother of his crush Kyoko. He is mad about boxing and is constantly trying to get new members to the boxing club. In addition, he often approaches the people so directly and surprisingly that they are rigid and so pulled by Ryohei, even if they actually do not want to join. Ryohei has a very idiosyncratic character and joins Tsuna's group after he defeated him in a boxing match. Ryohei also becomes a guardian of Tsuna and takes on the role of the sun watchman.
- Ryohei's motto in life is "EXTREME!", Which is why he often throws this exclamation into the room without any context or uses the adjective for other terms.
- Kyoya Hibari
- Hibari is the head of the Disciplinary Committee at Namimori Middle School and is feared by all students there. So his club always has special rights and he can choose the best room as the club room. He is a loner through and through and hates the crowds and everything and everyone who wants to harm the school or insult it. Tsuna and his friends are weaklings for him, whom he pays no attention to. Only Reborn arouses his interest, as he cannot defeat him with a few blows. So, driven by the desire to fight Reborn, he begins to interfere in the affair of Tsuna and co. Even if he actually doesn't want to have anything to do with Tsuna, he becomes one of his guardians and bearers of the cloud ring.
- Hibari's standard saying and threat at the same time is “Kamikorosu!”, Which is translated as “ I'll bite you to death! ”.
- Chrome docuro
- Chrome (real name Nagi ) only joins Tsuna and his friends in the course of the story. It is Mukuro's only connection to the outside world while he is in Vindice Prison. Both need each other, however, because Mukuro needs her body to materialize his illusions and Chrome needs his illusions, as these real illusions replace their missing organs. Chrome was hit by a car and seriously injured while trying to save a cat, which the doctors saw no chance for her. However, Mukuro keeps them alive through his illusions. She fights at Tsuna's side as his mist guardian in the battle for the Vongolarings.
- Chromes name " Kurōmu Dokuro " is an anagram of Mukuro's name " Mukuro Rokudō ".
