Satomi Akesaka

Satomi Akesaka ( 明 坂 聡 美 Akesaka Satomi ; * January 2, 1988 in Saitama , Saitama Prefecture ) is a Japanese seiyū , actress and former musician. She is under contract with the talent agency Amuleto .

Career

Akesaka had her first speaking role in 2004 for the anime Koi Kaze , in which she voiced Futaba Anzai. A year later she had a dubbing role in the anime series Mushishi , where she gave her voice to Nami. She also had roles in the 2007 and 2008 series Lucky Star and Sekirei . Akasaka had a supporting role in the horror anime series Another and Date A Live . In 2014, she voiced the antagonist Esdeath in Akame ga Kill! . In 2017 and 2018 she played the role of Rinko Shirogane in the anime series BanG Dream! and its offshoot BanG Dream! Girls band party! ☆ PICO. She became a member of the rock band Roselia , which is also part of the franchise.

She was part of the Bang for a year before she had to end her musical career due to a hearing loss. She has interpreted songs for several anime series, some of which made it into the Japanese single charts, determined by Oricon .

She still works as a seiyū and had a role in the anime series Gakuen Babysitters .

In 2005 Akesaka appeared on stage as an actress. She was involved in the theater implementation of the series School Rumble and Galaxy Angel . It can also be heard in the video games Fate / Grand Order , League of Legends and Granblue Fantasy .
