Ayaka Ōhashi

Ayaka Ōhashi ( 大橋 彩 香 Ōhashi Ayaka , * on September 13, 1994 in Urawa , Saitama Prefecture ) is a Japanese seiyū and J-pop musician who is under contract as a voice actress with the Horipro agency and as a singer with Lantis .

Ōhashi was seen on Japanese television as a child . She appeared in various commercials and television series for the television channel NHK Educational TV . When she was at a casting for the talent agency Horipro in 2012, she got her first leading role as voice actress in the anime television series Eureka Seven AO , where she voiced the character Fleur Blanc.

She had other roles in the series Aikatsu! , BanG Dream! and The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls . She is the drummer for the J-Pop group Poppin'Party , which is part of the BanG Dream! Franchise. There she slips into the role of Sāya Yamabuki. As a solo musician, Ōhashi has released two albums and various singles so far, all of which were able to position themselves in the Japanese music charts.

Ōhashi was born on September 13, 1994 in the former Japanese city of Urawa in Saitama Prefecture. At the age of five, her family moved to the Japanese capital, Tokyo . There she was accepted into an acting company and appeared in commercials, television series, in the TV program of NHK Educational TV and in plays as a child . During her time in the theater company, she took dubbing lessons, so that she has since pursued the desire to later work as a dubbing actress.

In 2011 she took part in a talent scouting for the Horipro agency , where she reached the final elimination and received a contract from the talent agency. Her first minor speaking role had Ōhashi in the anime television series Amagami SS + plus . In April of the same year she was accepted into the speaking team for the anime adaptation of Eureka Seven AO , where she received the speaking role of Fleur Blanc and thus her first major role. In the same year she received her second major role. For the mobile phone game of the multimedia project The Idolmaster , she received the speaking role of Uzuki Shimamura, which she later assumed again in other publications.

In 2014, Ōhashi released her single YES! her debut as a musician on the Lantis label . This piece was used as the opening credits for the anime television series Sabagebu! utilized. In this series, she also spoke the lead role Momoko Sonokawa. In the same year she voiced the character of Kurome in the series Akame ga Kill! . On May 18, 2016, ~ Kidō ~ Start Up! her debut album, which reached number 14 on the Japanese album charts.

In October 2015, Ōhashi was introduced as the fifth member of the J-Pop group Poppin'Party , which is part of the BanG Dream franchise. She plays the drums in the group . Within the franchise, she takes on the role of Sāya Yamabuki. Before joining the multimedia project, Ōhashi had experience playing drums.

In 2017, she spoke Aki Adagaki in the anime Masamune-kun no Revenge and also sang the opening credits for the series. Later that year, Ōhashi was announced as the spokeswoman for the Adeltroot Alter in the anime series Knights & Magic and also sang the song in the credits. In September 2017 she took the role of vodka in the multimedia project Uma Musume Pretty Derby of Cygames on.

On April 23, 2018 Ayaka Ōhashi released her second studio album, PROGRESS , which entered the Japanese album charts at number 24. In May 2020 she was originally supposed to play her first concert outside of Japan in Fort Worth , Texas .
