Bushiroad Inc. 株式会社 ブ シ ロ ー ド Kabushiki-gaisha Bushirōdo is a multimedia company founded in 2007 and based in Tokyo . The founder is Takaaki Kidani . Bushiroad has started various multimedia projects, including Tantei Opera Milky Holmes , Revue Starlight , Dig Delight Direct Drive DJ and BanG Dream! .

In January 2012, Bushiroad announced that it had bought the New Japan Pro-Wrestling League for 500 million yen. In 2019 Bushiroad bought World Wonder Ring Stardom , a Puroresu league.

During the Tokyo Games Show , the company announced Bushimo, a social gaming platform for the smartphone , and was officially released in the winter of the same year. In March 2013, Bushiroad announced the resurgence of the multimedia project Neppu Kairiku Bushi Road and produced a 90-minute anime film in collaboration with Bandai Visual , Nitroplus and Kinema Citrus , which ran on Japanese television on December 31, 2013.

In September 2013, the monthly magazine Monthly Bushiroad ( 月刊 ブ シ ロ ー ド Gekkan Bushirōdo ) was published for the first time. This includes manga versions of the in-house trading card games and other franchises . In 2015 Bushiroad started the BanG-Dream! -Project that consists of several anime productions, several manga adaptations and a smartphone game. In 2017 the Shōjo Kageki Revue Starlight project was started.

Bushiroad USA was opened in Los Angeles , California , in May 2012 to enter the North American market and meet demand from sellers and players.

  • Bushiroad International Pte., Inc

Bushiroad International was opened in Singapore in November 2011 to expand the overseas trading card game market . The subsidiary was founded under the name Bushiroad South East Asia Pte Ltd and was given its current name in August 2017.

  • Bushiroad Creatives, Inc.

Creatives, Inc. was founded on February 25, 2015 under the name Alcard Co., Ltd and is used to drive retail sales. In 2016, the subsidiary got its current name and moved from Warabi in Saitama Prefecture to Nakano , Tokyo . It is also responsible for the sale of merchandising items.

  • Bushiroad Media, Inc.

Specialized in content distribution on the radio , print media and on a digital level. Bushiroad Media publishes the Monthly Bushiroad , which is then distributed by Kadokawa . The subsidiary is also responsible for television planning and the production of merchandising items and also operates as an in-house agency .

  • Bushiroad Music, Inc.

Bushiroad Music is responsible for planning, producing and selling musical content. Bushiroad Music also organizes music concerts.

  • Hibiki, Inc.

Hibiki specializes in the production and distribution of Internet radio programs, but also acts as a talent agency for voice actors. With Hibiki Radio Station, Hibiki maintains an Internet radio station that focuses on advertising programs for in-house content.

  • Bushiroad Fight Co., Ltd.

Founded in 2016 and owns several sports companies including the World Wonder Ring Stardom and Knock Out !.
