Warabi ( Japanese 蕨 市 , - shi ) is a city in Saitama Prefecture , on the northern edge of the Japanese capital Tokyo .
Warabi hosted the Japanese Wushu Championships and is one of the few Japanese cities with a long Wushu tradition.

City friendship
The city of El Dorado County in the US state of California has been the sister city of Warabi since 1975. In addition, there has been an exchange with the small German town of Linden since 1976 , which was expanded into a city friendship in 2002.
