KK Kinema Citrus ( Japanese 株式会社 キ ネ マ シ ト ラ ス , Kabushiki-gaisha Kinema Shitorasu , English KINEMA CITRUS Co., Ltd. ) is a Japanese animation studio.

history

Kinema Citrus was founded in March 2008 by Muneki Ogasawara, Yūichirō Matsuka (formerly producer at Production IG ) and Masaki Tachibana (formerly director at Production IG).

In April 2009, the first two works were released for which the studio was primarily responsible for the animations: the television series Higepiyo and the movie Eureka Seven - Good Night, Sleep Tight, Young Lovers . For a large number of works, however, it cooperated in production with other studios, such as Bones at Tōkyō Magnitude 8.0 , Orange at Neppū Kairiku Bushi Road and Black Bullet or TNK at Busō Shinki: Moon Angel .
