Yurika Endo

Yurika Endō ( 遠藤 ゆ り か Endō Yurika , born June 24, 1994 in Tokyo ) is a former Japanese seiyū and pop musician .

In her active voice acting career from 2013 to 2018, she had roles in anime series such as Ace of Diamond , Magimoji Rurumo and Sakura Trick . In 2017 she voiced the roles of Nozomi Momijidani in Angel's 3Piece! and Lisa Imai from the BanG-Dream! -Franchise. In December 2017, she announced her retirement from the entertainment industry for 2018 due to health problems .

biography

Yurika Endō was born on June 24, 1994 in the Japanese capital Tokyo . According to a post on Twitter , she wanted to become a singer and seiyu from childhood . She aroused her interest in anime through series such as Ojamajo Doremi and Cardcaptor Sakura . Her interest in manga and anime solidified her desire to become an entertainer during her time in high school . At that time, she joined a music group that covers played by anime songs.

Although still going to high school, Endo took part in the sixth edition of the Animax Anison Grand Prix and reached the final there. She then decided to take part in a casting for the media company PonyCanyon . She won this and was signed by the artist agency Swallow , which belongs to PonyCanyon . She forms the vocal duo Yuki * Kari with the newcomer seiyū Karin Takahashi . Endo made her debut as a singer in the entertainment industry in 2013 with Yuki * Kari when they released the song Kimi to Futari , which was used as the end credits song for the anime series The Severing Crime Edge . She made her dubbing debut the same year she played Haruno Yoshikawa in the Ace of Diamond anime series .

In 2014, Endo released her first single as a solo musician. This is called Monochrome Overdrive and was used as the closing title for the series Z / X Ignition , in which she also dubbed the character Aina Mikage. The song was written and composed by Hisashi, lead guitarist for the band Glay . They also embodied in the anime series Sakura Trick and Magimoji Rurumo the characters Rina Sakai or Tanako Kujirai. Her second single, Futari Chrono Stasis , was released in August 2014 and is the closing song in the series Magimoji Rurumo.

In 2015 she was seen at the Anime Festival Asia in Indonesia and Singapore . In 2017 she was chosen for the role of Lisa Imai from the BanG-Dream! -Franchise cast and became a member of the rock band Roselia . In the anime series Angel's 3Piece! she spoke the character Nozomi Momijidani and became a member of the group Baby's Breath. She also spoke to Mitsuki Gero in the multimedia project Onsen Musume .

In December 2017, Endo announced that it would be retiring from the entertainment industry for the following year due to health problems. Her last appearance outside of Japan was at Anime Festival Asia in February 2018 in Hong Kong , her last live appearance with Roselia was in May and the last solo concert was on June 1, 2018.
