Sae Ōtsuka ( 大 塚 紗 英 Ōtsuka Sae , * October 10, 1995 in Kanagawa-ku , Yokohama , Kanagawa Prefecture ) is a Japanese musician and seiyū .
Career
As a musician
At the age of five, Ōtsuka received a toy piano from her mother . At the same age, according to an interview, she wrote her first song of her own. Ōtsuka has been musically active since elementary school. In middle school she played the trombone in a student brass band .
Before Ōtsuka became a BanG dream in 2015 ! -Franchise came across, she was a street musician . Within the franchise, she plays electric guitar in the J-Pop group Poppin'Party, in which she takes on the role of Tae Hanazono and speaks her in the anime . She was also a session musician for the group THE THIRD , which also belongs to the franchise, and left them after the first concert.
Since 2019 Ōtsuka has been part of the RONDO music quartet from the D4DJ project of the multimedia group Bushiroad . In this project she speaks the role of Nagisa Tsukimiyama.
She has been active as a solo musician since February 2020. She released her debut mini album, Avant Title, through Avex on February 26, 2020 . The album reached the 19th place in the Japanese album charts .
As seiyū
As seiyū , Ōtsuka achieved mainly through her speaking role as Tae Hanazono in the multimedia franchise BanG Dream! Notoriety. In addition to this project, she also spoke the role of Juri Torigoe in the short anime television series Rebirth .
She also gave voice to the character of Sotorihime from the video game Megami Meguri .
