Cia. Hering (Companhia Hering) is a Brazilian company in the clothing industry based in Blumenau , Santa Catarina .
The main activity of the company is the production and marketing of threads, fabrics, textiles, knitwear, accessories and clothing in general. It is also involved in the design of clothing. The company operates in several production units in the Brazilian states of Sao Paulo , Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Norte and Goias . The range of brands includes: Hering , Hering Kids , DZARM and PUC . The company sells women's, men's, and children's clothing through its own stores, franchises, and multi-brand retail stores, as well as through an online shop. It controls a number of subsidiaries, including Textil Santa Catarina Ltda. and Garema Malhas Ltda.

The Capital Property Trust Cia. Hering was founded in 1880 by the German brothers Bruno and Hermann Hering and is one of the oldest Brazilian companies still in operation. The company logo consists of two small fish (herring), each symbolizing a brother. Control of the company remains with the Hering family, who have expanded their activities to include retail and the franchise system. The Hermann Hering Foundation was established in 1935.
The main factories of Cia. Hering are located in Blumenau, where they form the city's largest private employer group. It was the first Brazilian textile company to export its products from 1966. In 1994 the chain started the system of franchise stores across Brazil. In 2006 the company was listed on the Brazilian BM & FBovespa stock exchange.
There are currently more than 400 franchise stores in 3000 cities in Brazil, mostly located in shopping malls. The Hering, Hering Kids, Dzarm and PUC brands have been online trading since 2018. Additional production facilities have already been set up in Parnamirim , Rio Grande do Norte and São Luís de Montes Belos in Goiás . In recent years, given the competitiveness of the Brazilian market due to low import prices, the company decided to import its main products from China.
