Katharina Johanna Ferner (* 1991 in Salzburg ) is an Austrian writer and editor .

education

Furthermore, he has been living and writing literary texts and reviews for the Austrian Library in Vienna since 2009 .

She published prose texts and poems in literary magazines such as SIGNUM , Miromente and in the Freiberg reading books . Author and editor at the literary magazine & Radieschen . She also works on the editorial team of the Austrian dialect magazine Morgenstean .

She was one of the first to receive the award We read our mouths sore since 2009 in Salzburg . Her text Family Time was then featured in the anthology Jetzt! released. Her text was also published in the anthology Sprache macht mobil during the award ceremony of the Landschreiber competition 2017 . He also works with the Association of Austrian Dialect Authors and Archives (Ö.DA).

In 2019 she was also able to take advantage of a three-month scholarship at the Stuttgart Writer's House.

Her latest novel The Beginning was published in 2020.
