The Catholic Katharinenkapelle in Mindelheim , a district town in the Unterallgäu district in Bavaria , was built in 1606/07. The chapel at Memminger Straße 42 is a protected architectural monument .

architecture

The octagonal central building with roof turret has a connecting structure for subsequent former Mesnerhaus . A redesign took place in the first half of the 18th century. The west gallery was built around 1720/30.

Furnishing

The two-column altar structure with the painting of the mystical marriage of St. Catherine of Alexandria was created around 1750. In the excerpt in the form of a cloud and ray glory there is the figure of the Archangel Michael . The pulpit is designed in the style of the altar.
