Kathleen O'Neal Gear
Kathleen O'Neal Gear (* 1954 in Tulare , California ) is an American writer .
She graduated from California State University with postgraduate studies from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem . She was a lecturer at UCLA and worked as a historian and archaeologist in Wyoming , Kansas , Nebraska and for the United States Department of the Interior .
Kathleen O'Neal Gear lives in Thermopolis , Wyoming with her husband W. Michael Gear , who is the co-author of many of her books.
