The Catholic branch church is on the Anger in the immediate vicinity of the Evangelical Parish Church in the village of Siget in der Wart in the market town of Rotenturm an der Pinka in the Oberwart district in Burgenland . The Roman Catholic branch church of the Rotenturm parish church on the Pinka , consecrated to Saint Ladislaus I , belongs to the Pinkafeld dean's office in the Eisenstadt diocese . The church is a listed building ( list entry ).

history

The church was mentioned in a document in 1368. For the initially Romanesque church, it was assumed that the nave was probably not built until the 16th century. 1957 was a restoration. Wall paintings were discovered in 1979.

architecture

The church shows the type of a Romanesque small church over a warped floor plan. The retracted semicircular easted choir has an axis bend to the north. The church has a small roof turret.

There is a flat wooden ceiling over the nave. The wooden gallery has a paneled parapet. The broad triumphal arch appears horseshoe-shaped. A bowl shows up above the apis.

Furnishing

The altar from the first half of the 18th century is in the original version, the altar wall shows the rectangular picture of Maria Immaculata in Hungarian costume.

Conrad Seiser calls a bell in Graz 1621.
