Kathrin Heinrichs (born February 8, 1970 in Langenholthausen , North Rhine-Westphalia ) is a German crime writer and cabaret artist .

Career

Heinrichs graduated from high school in Menden and then studied German and English in a teacher training course in Cologne . She began writing after she married and had three children. To do this, she founded her own publishing house. She now lives in Menden again.

She became best known since 1999 for her series of detective novels with a local Sauerland flavor. There were also volumes with short stories and publications in various anthologies. Since 1999 she has also appeared as a cabaret artist. She plays the role of "Helga Hammer-Gescheidt", chairwoman of the first self-help group for female teachers in Germany.

Heinrichs is a member of the Syndicate and Sisters in Crime authors' associations .
