The Volksbank winner eG was a German cooperative bank in the legal form of a registered cooperative based in Siegen in North Rhine-Westphalia . In July 2018, Volksbank Siegerland merged with Volksbank im Märkischer Kreis, retrospectively from January 1, 2018, to form Volksbank in South Westphalia .

The business area included the cities of Siegen, Kreuztal , Netphen and Hilchenbach , the municipalities of Neunkirchen , Burbach and Wilnsdorf in North Rhine-Westphalia and Mudersbach in Rhineland-Palatinate .

Membership and structure

The over 34,000 members were the owners of the bank. This made the cooperative one of the largest personal associations in the Siegerland.
