Kathrin Nussbacher

Kathrin "Kathi" Nussbacher (born October 25, 1991 in Graz ) is a former Austrian gymnast .

Career

Nussbacher took third place on the floor at the Austrian State Championships in 2005 . A year later she was 42nd best placed Austrian in the individual all-around at the European Junior Championships in Volos, Greece . In 2007 Nussbacher took part in the gymnastics world championships in Stuttgart . At the Austrian State Championships in 2007 she was third in the individual all-around and on the balance beam , in 2008 she was national champion in the jump and again third in the individual all-around and on the balance beam, in 2009 she was runner-up in the jump. Nussbacher took in 2008 and 2009 at the Gymnastics European championships and was 2008 and 2009 also twice Gymnastics World Cup -Finalistin.

She lived in Klagenfurt until autumn 2009 and trained under Katerina Maresova and Daniel Rexa at the Klagenfurt Gymnastics Club 1862 . Then she was committed by the German second division TV 08 Baumbach . Although she was the best individual competitor in the relegation competition on December 12, 2009, she could not prevent the club from relegating to the third division. In August 2010 she retired from the Austrian national team and ended her career as an artistic gymnast.
