Kati Grasse (* 1969 in Frankfurt (Oder) ) is a German actress and singer.

Life

Kati Grasse studied acting from 1987 to 1991 at the "Hans Otto" theater school in Leipzig . After completing her studies, she was engaged at the Young Generation Theater in Dresden from 1991 to 2002 , where she took on the leading role of Maria in the play West Side Story , directed by Janos Mrsan. In the 1992 film Karl May by director Klaus Überall , she played the role of "Christiane May" alongside Henry Hübchen .

Grasse has been working as a freelance theater actress at Komödie Dresden and in the Wechselbad Theater since 2002 . For example , she appeared in the comedy as Sugar in the play Some Like It Hot, directed by Peter Kube . As a singer, Grasse interprets chansons by Edith Piaf and songs by Hildegard Knef.

Kati Grasse lives in Dresden and Berlin and has a daughter.
