Kaitlyn Michelle "Katie" Armiger (born June 23, 1991 in Sugar Land , Texas ) is an American country singer. Her career began after winning a young singer competition in Houston , Texas when she was 14 years old. To date, she has released four albums and five of her songs hit the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts .

Career

Armiger's debut album, named after her, was released on August 21, 2007. It was produced by Mark Oliverius, who has also worked with Lorrie Morgan and Trick Pony.

The song "Kiss Me Now" from her third album Confessions of a Nice Girl reached number 55 on Billboard Hot Country Songs in 2010 . Their third album was re-released on September 20, 2011, including the single "I Do But Do I", which had been on the radio since July.

The single Better in a Black Dress , released in June 2012, climbed to number 54 of the "Billboard Hot Country Songs" and became their most successful song to date. The album Fall Into Me followed on January 22, 2013 and became Armiger's first album on the " Billboard 200 " chart, where it reached number 32. The album's second single, Playin 'with Fire , was released on February 11, 2013.
